Aqua signed by world-renowned IMG Academy

Aqua Marketing & Communications, Inc. has announced that it has been signed by IMG Academy, Bradenton, Florida, the world leader in sports training and performance. Aqua has been selected to help market IMG’s proprietary training and performance methodology, utilized by the world’s elite athletes in nearly every sport for almost 30 years, and up to now unavailable to others outside of IMG.

Set over 400 acres in Bradenton, Florida, IMG Academy features programs throughout the year for the IMG Academy Bollettieri tennis program, golf, basketball, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, football, and the Athletic & Personal Development program. IMG Academy-trained athletes have won 131 All Star titles, 63 MVP Awards, 22 World Championships, 5 National Titles, 2 Heisman Trophies, 889 Tournaments, 107 Major Championships and 11 Olympic Medals. IMG’s proprietary training methodology, now dubbed Ignite 360, will first be made available through certified sports trainers additionally certified in the Ignite 360 methodology.

Other than its recent brand makeover through Tribal DDB, this is the first time IMG has considered an outside agency to aid its efforts. The selection by IMG falls just months shy of Aqua reaching the two-year mark in its operations, having last year secured the accounts of Bradenton Area Convention & Visitor Bureau, Superior Lab Services, and the Charlotte Harbor Visitor and Convention Bureau. Since its founding, Aqua has been retained for branding, creative and production services by the TradeWinds Island Resorts, St. Pete Beach, Florida.

Aqua offers a blended interdisciplinary marketing communications approach for clients in the areas of tourism, travel and hospitality; economic development, real estate and healthcare, as well as various governmental entities.
