Charlotte Harbor Visitor & Convention Bureau selects Aqua Marketing & Communications, Inc.

November 27, 2012 (St. Petersburg, Florida) – Aqua Marketing & Communications, Inc. has announced that the Charlotte Harbor Visitor & Convention Bureau, the Charlotte County department responsible for attracting visitors to the county, has selected the firm.

This is the second Florida County to select the firm within a year. The agency also currently works with the Bradenton Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Manatee County department responsible for driving visitors to Bradenton, Anna Maria Island, and Longboat Key.

“We’re thrilled to have been chosen by Charlotte County and are looking forward to continuing to increase visitation to the region,” said agency President, Dave Di Maggio. “The selection is a strong indication of our staff’s deep experience and expertise in destination marketing.” The firm’s staff has had experience aiding the efforts of a number of Florida destinations, including Naples, Marco Island and the Everglades, Amelia Island, Seminole County, and St. Petersburg/Clearwater.

Formed just last year, Aqua offers a blended interdisciplinary marketing communications approach for clients in the areas of tourism, travel and hospitality; economic development, real estate and healthcare, as well as various governmental entities.
