Aqua chosen by City of Dunedin for Economic Development PR

aqua_pelican_dunedinAqua Marketing & Communications was recently selected from a number of firms in contention to provide public relations support to promote economic development and tourism in the City of Dunedin. The growing St. Petersburg-based full-service agency will supplement the services already being provided by the city’s Communications Department.

The contract will include the implementation of an integrated public relations plan designed to promote the destination nationally, internationally and regionally and enhance awareness of the city’s recently adopted brand while raising awareness of Dunedin through targeted media relations efforts.

“The City was thrilled to find a firm of Aqua’s caliber locally,” said Bob Ironsmith, economic housing and development director for the City of Dunedin. “Its vast experience and success in the areas of economic development and destination marketing made our decision an easy one and we are confident that together we will be able to build on the great momentum the City is achieving as of late.”
