Marketing leader to head Aqua’s new South Florida office.

We are thrilled to announce the hiring of Fran Vaccaro who assumes the role of Vice President overseeing the agency’s new West Palm Beach office and business development in South Florida.

One of the most skilled account directors in the field of hospitality and tourism, Fran boasts more than 25 years of experience as a travel and luxury brand expert, most recently serving as Vice President of Taglairino Advertising Group in Miami where she oversaw the advertising and paid media programs for Discover The Palm Beaches, Palm Beach County’s destination marketing organization, greatly contributing to four straight years of unprecedented, record-breaking tourism successes for The Palm Beaches.

While at TAG, Fran managed an impressive list of travel, hospitality and luxury brands, including the Miami Seaquarium, Ferretti Group, Knickerbocker Hotel, The Jefferson Washington, DC., and the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County. Over the course of her career Fran has managed multi-million dollar, multi-channel, integrated media and creative campaigns, successfully branded countless hospitality and destination accounts and seamlessly developed and executed large-scale co-operative advertising programs. Fran was also named Advertising Person of the Year by the Advertising Federation of Greater Miami.

Her hiring also marks an exciting time for the award-winning and expanding firm as Aqua will now officially open a West Palm office under Fran’s direction, from which she will oversee the marketing efforts of Aqua client the City of West Palm Beach – a mutually beneficial assignment for both the City and Aqua given Fran’s extensive experience marketing Palm Beach County as leader of the Discover the Palm Beaches team.

Fran will spearhead the rollout of the City of West Palm Beach’s integrated economic development marketing plan, providing project management and coordination, as well as marketing and strategic planning.

“In working with the City of West Palm Beach and immersing ourselves in the destination, Aqua recognized unlimited potential for the City,” said Aqua President Dave Di Maggio. “I am confident we have selected the right person to aid us in our endeavors and I am thrilled to continue our long-standing working relationship with Fran and offer our clients the expertise of one of the best in the business.”

“Aqua team members continue to prove why they are the best of the best and the City of West Palm Beach will undoubtedly benefit greatly from having Fran on board,” said Elliot Cohen, Communications Director for the City of West Palm Beach. “We are also excited to announce that the City’s agency of record selected our area for expansion and will now be just a few steps away, which will unquestionably aid in our on-going effort to market the economic development opportunities in the City of West Palm Beach.”

In assuming her role at Aqua, Fran also reunites with Di Maggio and key members of the team who, together, have seen unparalleled success marketing travel and tourism clients in the state at top destination marketing firms in Florida.
