It’s a Win-Win-Win: Aqua Captures Three Adrian Awards

The Aqua team was honored by Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) with three Adrian awards for our work for Visit Lauderdale. Each year, the prestigious show honors the best marketing campaigns in the world within the tourism, travel and hospitality industries. And each year, Aqua comes home with some more hardware to add to the ol’ award shelf.

It’s nice to be recognized for our core specialty of destination marketing, but what makes these awards really special is that they’re based on both creativity and results. And we like to move the needle for our clients. This year’s wins for Visit Lauderdale were for an integrated marketing campaign, a PR campaign promoting the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and a print insert in AFAR magazine. All of which contributed to Greater Fort Lauderdale having the second highest leisure occupancy in Florida, which surpassed all of their major competitors, including Orlando and Miami. The campaigns also won two coveted “Henry” awards (best of category) at the annual VISIT FLORIDA Flagler Awards, solidifying Greater Fort Lauderdale’s new dominance as a leading draw for visitors in Florida.
